This one-day refresher course is designed for currently licensed Ohio Lead Abatement Workers and Lead Abatement Contractors who need to maintain their certification. Students will review current regulations, lead-safe work practices, containment methods, personal protective equipment (PPE), waste handling, documentation, and industry updates while reinforcing the knowledge and skills needed to perform lead abatement safely and in compliance with state and federal requirements.
Students who successfully complete the course and pass the course examination will receive a course completion certificate that satisfies Ohio refresher training requirements for maintaining their Lead Abatement Worker or Lead Abatement Contractor license
